Match report Gidea Park and Romford lost their second consecutive game away to Ardleigh Green.
Park batted first on a wicket offering considerable help to the bowlers and were soon in trouble at 14-4. Churchill and Capp managed to stem the flow of wickets and an excellent partnership between Richard Wall (31) and Hafiz Ali (20) saw Park up to a highly improbable 152-AO.
On a wicket that became considerably easier to bat on, Parks bowlers put in an excellent effort defending the small total. Two early wickets for Gordon gave Park hope, but Gunasena rode his luck to score 67 and an excellent 55 by T Oakley put the game beyond them.
