GP&R hosted the launch of ‘Hit The Top’ in Essex on Wednesday July 29th 2009 at Gallows Corner. The 'Hit The Top' programme is designed to provide opportunities for those with learning and physical disabilities aged 10 to 16. On the day a number of clubs and county squads that have set up through ‘Hit The Top’ were showcased: Gidea Park & Romford Giants, South Loughton Lions, Essex Junior VI, Sussex Junior VI, Essex MLD, London MLD, Essex Pan.

The Club's Annual Stag Supper was held on 7th March. Guest speakers were former GP&R player Stephen Peters, of Northants CCC, and Steve Wilkes from Old Esthamians. Stephen also presented trophies to the Club's annual award winners. Copies of the photos are available on request. (click on thumbnail for larger image and slideshow)
