Match report Gidea Park won the toss and elected to bat first on a wicket that looked like it would get harder to bat on as the game went on.
Parks top order again put on a fine display with Baker and Patel putting on 144 for the first wicket, Patel eventually run out for 54. Patient and Baker continued the good work getting Park up to 230-1 dec after 49 overs.
Park soon had Westcliff in trouble courtesy of some fine new ball bowling by Smith and Ali, and with victory beyond them dug in for a draw. At the beginning of the last twenty Park still required 7 wickets for victory. With the introduction of spin, wickets fell quickly and Westcliff found themselves 9 down with four overs to go. Phelong and Mather managed to play out the final overs to earn Westcliff a draw. Churchill was the pick of the bowlers claiming 6-22 from 11 overs.
