Match report Poor fielding cost Park dear during this local derby with Brentwood. Having won the toss Park asked Brentwood to bat first on a fine wicket hoping to apply pressure and limit the flow of run to a minimum. Boon and Taylor got B'wood of to a sound start but did not look too threatening. After the first 20 overs things looked reasonably good as far as over and run rate were concerned, however when Boon was trapped LBW by Winmill and Taylor was dismissed by Gordon, Walford (63) and Morgan (77*) set about picking up the pace and capitalised on some forgetable fielding on a lightning outfield. Brentwood Closed on 277 for 5.

In reply Baker and Kullar got Park off to good start scoring freely until Kullar fell for 22. Baker (73) Patient (33) and Evans (31) and Brant (22) tried to force the issue to get within sight of a win, however Park eventually ran out of overs and had to settle for a draw.
