Match report On a hot summer's day Brentwood won the toss & elected to bat 1st. Morgan & Larner scored 46 & 47 respectively & captain Trevor Coote weighed in with 39 not out as Brentwood totalled 193 for 7 from 52 overs. Veteran Paul Winmill bowled 13 overs, 1 for 30 while Abdul Zabwalla took his 1st wicket of the season while bowling 15 over 1 for 53. Hafiz Ali took 4 for 67 from 13 overs. The Brentwood total looked reasonable on a pitch that at times seemed hard to get the ball away.

Park's reply started with a useful stand from Craig Bray and Ron Montgomery. Craig being caught and bowled for 25 by Bainbridge when the score was 52. Montgomery & Patient took the scored to 170 before Patient played a poor shot to leave Tony Millar and Ron to see Park home. Ron scoring a brilliant century in the process and ending up 103 not out.

The pick of Brentwood's bowling were 13 year old Harry Levy and Bainbridge. Levy bowled with great control and produced a lot of turn form the surface. While Bainbridge also bowled with control, and variation mixing cutters, seamers and off spinners to great effect. Park were surprised he didn't bowl more overs.
