Match report A poor result , beaten by a Brentwood side that played better all round cricket on the day. Asked to bat first Brentwood accumulated a steady total and never paniced on their way to 192-7. Useful contributions from Ben Debenham, Rushbook and Westwood whilst others chipped in enabled Brentwood to push the required rate up to 4.5 an over. Mel Hussain Leigh Davey and the unlucky Dhruv Joshi bowled well. Davey being the pick of the wicket takers whilst Hussain produced the best spell of economical bowling on the day.
Park were soon in trouble with a fine spell from Richard Whitehall removing Hussain and Redwood and then Churchill. Park got patnerships going and then lost wickets as the rate increased against a well disciplined attack and competitive fielding side. The loss of Hyam 44 to a run out proved crucial as did the the dismissal of Davey 32 the same way and Park never really recovered. Dhruv Joshi showed great fight in a determined 26 but that too was to fall to a run out as park folded for 172.Losing by 23 runs
