Match report Watford Town found themselves struggling at 40 for 5 in this Evening Srandard Cup match due to some tight early bowling from Waheed and some very straight bowling by Russ. The latter returned the excellent figures of 5 for 25 from his 10 overs. After a stubborn stand between Sampat and Riad that took the score from 40 to 101 the rest of the order folded leaving GP&R a target of 123 to win. After Bazza got off to a flying start 3 wickets fell in quick succession and from 20 for 0 we found ourselves at 39 for 3. Luke joined Winnie. This pair set out their stall magnificently. Luke played the support role and Winnie continued his magnificent form. No more wickets fell and victory arrived with Andy 73 not out. Wanstead next!
