Gidea Park & Romford Cricket Club Saturday 2nd XI v South Woodford on Sat 14 Aug 2004 at 1.30pm
Gidea Park & Romford Cricket Club Lost lost by 6 wickets

Match report We recovered well from 87 for 5 to a declaration total of 241 for 6. This was thanks to a magnificent stand of 119 between James and Goldie and some late clubbing from Max Wall. Earlier makeshift opener Branty took his opportunity well with a typically hard hit 37.
This total should have been capable of being defended but after the early dampness had gone from the flat Gallows track the visiting batsmen enjoyed themselves to get home by 6 wickets. Our usual high standard of fielding and catching was missing on this occasion which made the South Woodford task somewhat easier.
