Match report A hard fought battle was to be in vain as Park could not get the last required wicket away to South Woodford.
Asked to bat first on a difficult wicket Park amassed 243-6. Leigh Davey the main contributor with a fine 100. Holding the innings together in the middle of the order he paced his innings superbly with some well crafted shots and hard hitting. Luke Baker assisted with a great 30 not out at the death which help take park to 243 when 220 was looking par.
The bowling was very accurate and after the initial run rush to south Woodfords innings Park gained control.Leigh Davey and Andy Berry bowled fantastically well with berry taking catch of the season to dismiss Janjua first ball caught and bowled. Collard and Croft bowled well and the wickets began to tumble with leigh davey reverse swing to dismiss the middle order ending with 4 wickets to go with the ton earlier. Park could just not dislodge the last wicket as Butt and lancaster stood firm to see the match to a draw
