Despite a below par fielding display, GPR managed to restrict Basildon to just 81 runs; with Matthew Hogg finishing with 4-15, Harry Phillips 3-15 and Sam Little 2-3. Special mention to Joe Allison whose keeping continues to impress, with byes being kept to a minimum.

In response, Alex Toft (17) got the innings off to a fast start before Charlie Schrier (18no) and Harry Phillips (24no) raced to the target off 9 overs.
