Match report A lost toss gave Raphael the opportunity to bat first in sunny conditions. Park held them back for the opening 10 overs, with Stuckey and Roberts bowling economically. Some good batting from Miller and Bichard to accelerate the score proved the difference and Raphael closed with a strong 233 for 6. Dave Osborne turned in a 4 for 40 and claimed the wicket of his son Neil, but remained his modest self.

In reply, Park got off to a similar slow start, but never really pushed on with the pace required, although this was perhaps something to do with Raphael having 7 fielders on the boundary from the 20 over point - hardly sunday cricket at its finest. There were good knocks from Capp (57) and Patel (53*) with GP&R finishing short of the mark by 44 runs.

There was a debut from a young James Robinson, who's 'medley' brand of bowling caused some amusement.
