Ammar striking early removing Jabar for 4 lbw. Dar dropped anchor and was finally dismissed for 25 in the 25th over by Rudi Filmalter. A partnership of 153 between Diwan and Ashraf held Park at bay. Ashraf striking out for 83 before finally holing out to the bowling of Churchill whilst Diwan played for his century. Having got his century Diwan had a wild thrash and was caught by Swainland off the bowling of Ali. Wickets tumbled after with Churchill picking a 3-78 from 18 overs and Ali 2-84. Ilford throw wicket after wicket away in search of the target they really should have been looking for. Their innings closing on 269-7, Park bowling and fielding superbly.

Barry Hyam and Luke Baker set the base with 69-0 before tea. Baker being dismissed shortly after tea for 10 to a ball that stopped off the slow bowling of Sohal. Hyam was in the fantastic form and with Harris getting better and better they produced a partnership of 180 in 23 overs. Harris finally being dismissed for a fine 91 with 12 4's and 1 6 whilst Hyam continued the charge finishing not out on 146 with 15 4's and 2 6's with Andy Churchill 9 not out.
