Match report Chingford chose to bat first and battled well as Park fought hard without any luck for the first wicket. Ammar Zaem and Harris Afridi did all that was asked except get the break through. Zaem fially removing Shawyer for a gritty 27. Ali Aslam and Andy Churchill bowled superbly on an assisting wicket. Ali returning his first 5 wicket haul in the league finishing with 5-69. Andy Churchill again was producing fine consistency applying the pressure, he to finishing with 3-21 from 13 overs. Park bowled and fielded well but chingford showed resistence. Mead making 54 being the main stay but others chipped in giving Chingford a fighting chance on a responsive wicket.
Park lost Collard and Baker before tea. Afirdi 25 perished soon after tea and with Ali not troubling the scorer Parks reply was proving even harder. Andy Churchill again with great form and Ammar set about getting Park into the game. All was going well untill Ammar was well caught for 41. Churchill fell for 55 and so did Parks challenge. Chris Swainland went for 17 and it was left to Danny Rees and Tom Montgomery to salvage a draw in a game Park really should have done better
