Match report Park opted to field first. Davey removing Lall for 17 well caught by Amam Zaem at slip. Ashraf was dismissed shortly after lbw to Davey for only 7. Dar got to 50 before being well caught by Collard at slip off Churchill in his first over. The total being 97-3 at that stage.
Kandola and Diwan were to give Park no further joy in a partnership of 133 in 30 overs. Park used 9 bowlers on a beautiful batting track. The bowling was well disciplined and well backed up in the field but chances were few and far between. Goldstone finally got rid of Diwan for a balanced 80 before holding out in the deep well caught by Churchill. Whiting came in to accelerate the score with 28 in only 16 balls.
Ilford finishing on 286-4
Park soon lost Baker lbw for 1 to Ashraf and Choudray was soon to follow lbw to Majeed for 5 leaving Park on 9-2. Churchill 23 and Collard 39 were both not out when play was abandoned due to rain with the score on 82-2.
