Match report High Roding batted first. Barry Olivier was the pick of the bowlers early on with great control and beating the bat on numerous occasions being rewarded with 2 wickets. High Roding looked well set for an even bigger score than 260 with Mel Hussain 78 and M.Hammond 79 going well, with the additional help of the early season blues with the extras notching up 50. Controlled bowling towards the end saw the end of both Rodings prolific scorers and Park were able to claw their way back into the game with debutant Haris Afridi claiming 3 wickets to end High Rodings charge with 5 overs to go.
Park set off steadily with Luke Baker 46 and Russ Collard 43 adding 87 for the first wicket in 17 overs. The loss of the first wicket saw the game move along steadily but with Rodings knowledge of the track and taking the pace off the ball the run rate increased to 140 required from the last 13 overs. Debutant Amar Zaem stepped up to smash an amazing 118 not out from only 60 balls (12x4's and 4x6's)with the ball going to all parts in what could only be described as amazing.
Park got home off the last ball with Phil Goldstone scoring the winning run to record a victory by 2 wickets.
