Match report Park suffered a heavy defeat as the good work of previous weeks was undone by Westcliff opener Ravi who smashed 124 in quick time as the fielders and bowlers wilted on a very hot afternoon. Ian Greenwood was steady with his ioffspin, taking 5 for 71, but time was used up with the ball being lost and the emergency wicket keeper allowing 24 byes, and the final declaration of 290 for 7 left Park under an hour and 20 overs to bat. However, this brought no real relief as the Park batting, usually so reliable, found varied ways to get out chasing bonus points (including two run outs) as they had no answer to Westcliff's young attack, Gibbons taking 4 for 15. Hasan Khan finished with 44 to top score but this was a game best forgotten!
