On the mixed weather day, GPRCC 4TH XI played as a team as a group to bring up the first win to kick start this season on positive note. GPRCC won the toss and elected to field and with two quick wickets GPRCC had the grip on the game, with clouds looming and new rain rule in place Loughton continued their attack and kept loosing wickets to some express bowling by Shaz, Kanojia and Connor. With 162 to chase GPRCC lost and early wicket however Connor and Emmar showed positive intent and played aggressive cricket to build a good partnership, after good start GPRCC then lost quick wickets and lost Connor on 73 leaving GPRCC to chase 40 with 3 wickets in hand. Micheal Ryder & Salim Patel played clever cricket to put up a partnership of 40 plus to see the team home. Over all good day for the park.
