Match report Park won the toss and decided to take the field with a very much an experimental bowling attack who responded well to the challenge. Adam Locke the only regular frontline bowler delivered 3 overs for just 7 runs. Edward Gavigan playing "up" from his U13 age group for the U15s for the first time looked comfortable and bowled accurately and with a bit of zip at times. Louis Stuckey making his debut for the Club bowled 4 very tidy overs up the hill. Mark D'cruz bowled well also but the star of the show had to be Peter Collier who bowling for the first time for the club bowled 2 overs for 8 runs and 3 wickets. Well done boys the captain has learnt of a few bowlers he can turn to in the future when something different needs to be tried. The bowlers should also take some confidence that they can perform at this level.

Parks reply started well with both Craig Bray and Matt Tarr scoring freely. Matt is beginning to fufil his potential at this level and this combined with is bowling contribution has made him a valuable asset to the team in recent games. Keep working hard Matt.
Craigs dismissal slowed things down but Matt and Andy D'cruz looked to have things under control but tight Hornchurch bowling slowed things down and eventually Park scrapped home by tieing the scores but won by virtue of losing less wickets.

Learning Points from the game:
1) We need to get better at chasing totals
2) We can't run games this close with good batsman still in the hutch
3) Every run counts in limited overs cricket. We can't give runs away just because we feel we are on top
