Match report Gidea Park win by 8 wickets with over 21 overs to spare.

Having lost the toss park were put in the dirt to our surprise on a damp wicket and outfield. Park made early inroads reducing Basildon to 53-5 thanks to some excellent bowling and fielding by Park. Basildon fought back with a partnership of 61 for the 6th wicket but scoring was proving difficult. Chris Mckie picked up 3 wickets and Vin bowled 10 overs for just 15 runs in an innings that closed on 159-9. Great efforts in the field and a vast improvement from the previous week.

Park started watchfully putting on 69 for the first wicket before Vin cut loss scoring a free flowing 89 before finally being bowled. Matt Tarr and Jamal Francis see park home with no further loss of wicket. 160-2 with 21 overs to spare.

First win of the season.. Well played Chaps!!
