Match report Gidea Park lost this close fought game by 4 runs.

Gidea Park won the toss and put Belhus into bat on a surprisingly dry and flat wicket given the recent conditions. Classy knocks from Jefferies (70) and Danny Joyce (54) along with some clean hitting from Joe Joyce (34) enabled the home side to post a decent total of 253 which was probably 15/20 runs more than Park had hoped. Park were somewhat flat and out of practice in the field with a number of chances and runs being gifted to Belhus.

Park's reply started in the worst possible way with Mane being trapped infront 2nd ball. Baker and Tarr went about rebuilding the innings with a solid partnership before the former was also trapped LBW. Tarr went onto make a decent 52 with other batsmen getting starts but failing to capitalize. Park looked down and out after 40 over but enter Rudi who proceeded to smoke the bowling all over the ground and annoy some local homeowner in the process. With 14 needed and 4 wickets in hand park suddenly looked favourites to get home with 4 overs to go. Enter Connor Day, who produce a great spell of death bowling cleaning up the tail. Park lose by 4.
