Match report Having been asked to bat first Park lost debutant Chris Collier , who looked well settled ,first for 9 bowled by Kazmi.Churchill went next , played on to a delivery from Kazmi, for 10 before a partnership of 46 between Davey and Hussain saw Park to 87 before Hussain went bowled by Terry Laird for 42.Davey went shortly after lunch for 26 agin bowled by Paul James to one that kept alittle low.Collard and Whatling added 9 before Whatling was unfortunately run out for 7. Baker and Collard dug in and added 52 in a patient partnership but Baker was to fall to a extremely close stumping decision. Collard completed his 50 but was immediately returning after being caught on the line . MOntgomery florished and scored a rapid 14 before time ran out and Parks innings closed on 191-7. Laird and JAmes bowled well bowling 50 overs 11 Maidens 122 runs 4 Wickets.
Park needed to be at their best in the field and were soon dismissing James for 17 bowled by Davey playing all across one. Davey then produced a fine spell taking the next three wickets for 7 runs and Park were putting themselves in a strong position with Loughton at 76-4. Paul James was next to go after a partnership of 34 bbowled by Churchill. Kazmi was then caught by Collard off Churchill at extra cover for 34 and with the score at 111-6 Park looked well on the way to a victory chance.Greenhill and courtney set about rebuilding Loughtons chances and Park were dismayed at a stumping being turned down when Greenhill attempted to sweep and feel out of his ground when on 5 but to all and sundrie the appeal was turned down.Greenhill and Courtney tok the opportunity adding 62 to take the total to 173 before Courtney fell to Churchill caught by Collier for 34.Stuart Greenhill was then adjuged LBW to Churchill and it was to go to the last over before Greenhill completed victory scoring the winning runs with one ball to spare.
