Match report GP&R batted first and made steady progress with Zahid, Clifford and Khan all getting a start but not pushing on to the fifty mark. Park looked to be heading toward a healthy first innings total at 143 for 3 but a complete collapse of the middle and lower order resulted in the home having a score of 158 to beat.

In reply, Wickford lost a wicket in the first ball of their innings with Smith skying to mid-on from Jabar. Jabar went on to take five wickets with some fine line and length bowling. Andy Goldsmith and Imran Qureshi chipped in with two wickets a piece and Ben Williams took the final wicket (a sporting LBW given by Wickford) with 8 overs remaining and Wickford tied down to 91.
