Match report Park struck early but then Loughton rapdidly made their way to 103-2 before Sameer Zia and Asim Razzaq restricted the run rate. Zia bowling with great control returning fantastic figures of 5-21 from his 8 overs whilst Razzaq bowled with great experience and intelligence in partnership with Zia captured 2-24. Loughton struggled to 155 ao from only 33 overs.
Park lost 4 wickets relatively cheaply at 56-4 before Baber Choudhary 48 and Chris Collier 20 both batting very well against excellent bowling from Billal Butt. Park then lost 2 more wickets and the game finely balanced at 106-6 still needing 50 to win. Ejaz Khan went for 12 before Asim Razzaq capped a fine all round performance striking 33 to see Park home by 3 wickets with 6 overs to spare.
Park play hosts next week to Belhus in the 2nd round of the league cup next week.
