Match report As usual Park captain Patient lost the toss and was asked to bat first by Wood skipper Tony Carman.

Park were off to a flying start due to the positive stroke play of Michael Pegram, who scored 54 in just under twelve overs including a rain interuption.

From there in skipper Patient anchored the innings with 64 supported well by Saghir Khan(34) & Abdul Zabwalla(37). This allowed Park to declare on 241 for 6 after 43.5 overs.

Harold Wood started brightly, but tight bowling by Gurjit Jutla pegged them back. Hafiz Ali took center stage as he took the first five wickets to fall, before smart work from Pegram & Winmill saw Geoff Smith run out.

There was defiance from Matt Sewell(58) and Gary Smith(13). Sewell eventually holing out to that man Ali off Richard Wall & Ahuja having Smith LBW. This left Jutla and Ali to pick up the final two wickets to round off a good day for Park.
