Match report A comprehensive defeat for a depleted Park team who have been hit hard by the availability crisis higher up in the club. Injuries and holidays meant that Park faced league leaders with a young and inexperienced side who given the circumstances, performed reasonably well.
Having won the toss, Park opted to bat in the hope of gaining maximum batting points and were looking strong as they raced to 128 for three in 23 overs with Webber (71), Pasola (27) and Billy Payne (23) all contributing well. Unfortunately, they slumped from there to 166 all out largely as a result of Neil Webb's 6 for 39 off of 13 overs.
Brentwood responded swiftly and they reached the target off only 26 overs with John Windebank picking up the only wicket. Veejay Vyas bowled tightly but Park clearly did not have anywhere near enough runs to mount a challenge.
