Match report Havimg lost the toss Park soon had lost 2 wickets.Barry Hyam caught behind 5 and Luke Baker bowled by Kazmi for 7 left Park on 14-2. Andy Churchill and Chris Swainland set about rebuilding Parks innings. Andy Churchill returned to his best form with a fine 87 whilst Chris Swainland made a fine 51 on his return to his former club. Swainland was next out on 51 after a partnership of 124 when he was caught in the deep having just reached his 50 with a 6. Chris Collier continued his development this season and with Andy Churchill put on an essential 27 before Andy was run out for a well timed returned to form of 87. Chris stayed through the innings whilst Park lost 4 further wickets in their attempt to score quick runs. Park finally finishing on 215-7 with Collier again not out in the 30's.
Parks opening spell was spot on again, after having reduced Wickford to 20-4 last week, Loughton found themselves 15-4 with fine spells from Rhett Fileke and Waheed Khan both picking up 2 wickets. Kazmi and Grieg attempted to rebuild the innings but Collard removed Grieg before tea. Russ Collard then removed mainstay Kazmi for 34 after he was brilliantly stumped by Swainland. Captain Colin Greenhill attempted to stave off defeat but Collard removed James 0 and then had Zeeshan 8 again stumped by inform Swainland. Phil Goldstone replaced Collard and immediately removed Greenhill 18 with a brilliant catch by Barry Hyam at short cover. John Bastow launched some massive blows but Goldstone put the nail in the coffin by having Laird caught behind by Swainland for 0 to seal vicory for Park giving them their first 22 points of the season.
