Gidea Park & Romford Cricket Club

Saturday 28th saw a return to playing action at the ground after a dry week and some excellent work by Brian our groundsman. The 1st XI racked up 288 in a draw against Belhus with Vin Mane scoring an excellent first century for the club and Sam Hewitt keeping up his good form with the bat. On the other square the 4ths lost to South Woodford, whilst in the away games the 2nds won at Loughton and the 3rds lost at leaders Chelmsford. The 5ths had no scheduled game. More sunny weekends please!
