Match report This 40 over friendly saw GPR run out winners by 4 wickets. Choosing to bat first, Eastside found runs hard to come by early on as a sharp opening spell from Kingston and swing from Evans kept the runs in check. After a tight spell of off spin from debutant Goswami, Eastside looked to score more quickly and a fine half century from GPR's own Baber Choudhary helped push the total up to 183.
A century opening stand from Ashley Capp and second debutant Haque, who scored an impressive 60, built a winning platform although once they were gone the middle order wobbled but Goswami saw GPR over the line with an unbeaten 41 and three overs to spare.
