Match report Wanstead won the toss & strangly elected to bat first. They were given a tremendous start by Velani & Ishtiag, which saw them to 125 for 2 at 20 overs. They meanandered to 260 from 49.2 after that. probably batting for to long to be able to bowl Park out.

Park fielded and bowled not particularly well, four chances were spurned in the field. The team tried whole heartedly, but our performance wasn't up to the mark. The bowling of Carver and Zabwalla being the highlights. Abdul's 5 for 61 up the hill being very useful.

Park's reply got off slowly. Runs were hard to come by. The suspect action of the bowler up the hill even beinging commented on by the Leigh on sea opening bowler in the 2nd XI game.

Bray went first caught at slip, Saghir was also caught at slip. Millar and Patient were happy to go after points but missed out on the fourth bonus batting point with 9 needed for the final over of the game.
