Match report Having won the toss Park were soon in control as Ejaz Khan and Don Miller worked superbly to contain the home side. Ejaz taking 3 early wickets and Don Miller 1 reduced Colchester to 54-4.Sean Kingston taking 1 wicket and some excellent bowling by Waheed Khan saw Park reduce their opposition shotless. Only Ahmed 43 and Barnett 26 showed any resistance but with Collard catching Ahmed at slip from Wjaz the last 4 wickets fell for 20 runs. waheed finishing with wonderful figures of 16-6-29-3 and Ejaz collecting his forst 5 wicket haul of the season finishing with 16-4-59-5 and Touseef Shahzad having a fine day with the gloves collecting 4 catches Colchester all out for 174 in the 55 over.
Park had a great start from Russ Collard 42 and Hasibul Hoq 84 producing a stand of 109 for the first wicket. Baber Choudhary played solidly for 26 not out to see park home to victory with James Evans 1 for a deserved 7 wicket and much needed victory.
