Match report Park were comfortably second best on a day when Brentwood beat them by 138 runs showing great depth and strength in their side.
Brentwood won the toss and were soon in command as Walford and West adding 69 for the first wicket. Walford falling for 34 to Waheed Khan. Park old boys James Redwood 65 and Phil Ayres 32 contributed to a score which was to prove far to big for Park. Max Osborne blasting 24 in only 11 balls saw the visitors to 293-5 from their 50 overs.
Park were soon in trouble as the top 3 were removed for only 26. Leigh Davey on his comeback from the wilderness top scoring with a fine 31. Ali Aslam 29 and Ejaz Khan 27 were the only other real contributors. Don Miller 15 and Ejaz keeping Brentwood in the field for longer than they thought, but Ahmed returned to end a fine perfomance removing Kingston. Park were a poor second best and need to improve in all departments after a lively start to the season they need to find consistency and application again.
