Gidea Park & Romford Cricket Club Won 54
Match report
Park were asked to bat first and after losing opener Matt Tarr who dragged on a horrible ball that was short on the legside and then didn't bounce proceeded to maake good progress. Mark D'cruz scored 16 on his first appearence as an opener. Ravi Rajani again performed well at number hitting a fine 24. Sam Bragg enjoyed his first bat of the season scored 28. Once again skipper JacK Kliber steered the side to a good total 0f 130 off 20 overs.
Cranhams reply got off to a bad start due to some fine bowling from the dangerous Edward Gavigan. Park took regular wickets which ensured Cranham didn't really get into the game. Kishen took his first ever wicket for the club and Ravi Ranjani is proving to be a great allrounder for the side took two wickets. Mark D'cruz took 3-12 to polish off the game.
The ground fielding was better boys but we dropped some silly catches. Still room for some iimprovement but 3 wins out of 3 games is a good start to the season.
