Match report Another fine win for GPR, batting first nearly all the batsmen got 'in' and then got out. With Adam, Lloyd and Harry all reaching 20 and only Chris Lamb with a swashbuckling 22 surpassed that number. It was however, probably the only duckless innings I can ever recall since scoring for this lot and it added up to a total of 159. Which may have looked a little below par on a good pitch, but then followed one of the better bowling performances for some time. Lloyd picked up 3 for 18 in a lively spell, and whilst the other bowlers kept everything tight, Chris 'the spin' McKie came on and wreaked havoc with the oppostions middle order, helping reduce them from 69 for 3 to 84 for 8 in no time. Two good catches from Tommy Glanville behind the stumps, and sound fielding all round assured GP&R of a 69 run victory inside 30 overs. A fine win, even without the injured David Brett and holidaying Tom Stephen and Connor Halsey.
