Hornsey batted first scoring 210 all out at one point thinking about declaring in an overs match !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well Sweeneys troops rallied and bowled our oppo out for a measley 210 which was never going to be enough against the devastating on slaught that was to follow.Early devasting pace and inswing from Phil Ayres was always going to be too much for the Aussie academy player Alley to handle and later Sweeney 3 wickets Chris Collier 2 and Phil Goldstone 2 wickets bowled out Hornsey in the 41 over !!!!
Losing Davis early to a played on bought Sweeney and devasting James Evans together.Some hefty blows by Evans got the run rate ticking but after his demise Batch and Sweeney batted superbly.Sweeney out for 46 .Batch went on to complete a fine 50 .A couple more wickets fell before Andy Churchill 21not out and Darren Batch 70 not out saw Park home comfortably by 4 wickets and 5 overs to spare.Declare indeed !!!!!!!!!
