Gidea Park & Romford Cricket Club Under 9's v Upminster on Fri 14 Aug 2015 at 18.00
Match was Abandoned GPRCC 250, Upminster 193 after 6 overs

Match report A match against a young Upminster team played in difficult conditions that was eventually abandoned due to the weather.

Dylan Ueckermann (captain) lost the toss and GPRCC was put in to bat. GPRCC batted well throughout the order, protecting their wickets and scoring freely. Notable performances came from James Radden (15), Efe Aihe (7), Zaraar Kunwar (3) and Emily Peckett (3) in her first game for the club.

GPRCC's opening bowlers (including Matthew Hubbuck, Clayton Connolly and Jai Kalia) were all on form taking five wickets in the first six overs. Tight fielding and backing up that included spectacular boundary saves from Yash Kulkarni and Harriet Seager limited Upminster's scoring before the weather came in and the game was abandoned.
