Match report Park won the toss on adodgy wicket and chose to bat. Park got off to a flyer with 11 off the fist over. Tom Kershaw was out for 0 with an edged cut to slip. Dennis and Payne came and went quickly and Matt Hiscock hit 2 great 4sfor his 8. Gary Coombe was caught for 1-much to his dissapointment!! That brought Collier to the crease and he played many classy shots for his 73 which included 10 fours and 2 sixes. Collier and D@'cruz put on 94 in 15overs which got park to 142, D'cruz out stumped for a typically slow and patient 28. Sammons and Toogood both went for ducks and edventually park were all out for 184, after being 48 for 5. Park was helped by 60 extras... 29 wides, 5 no balls and 25 byes.
Park opened the bowling with Goldstone and Sammons both bowling pretty quickly on a slow track. Sammons was on a hat trick once in a great spell of fast bowling, ending up with 5-3-10-4. Togood bowled pretty well with his experimental off spin and maybe should not have ended up wicketless. Moonie bowled 4 good overs for 20 but found bowling on the slow wicket hard. Gary Coombe bowled 7 excellent overs for 24, picking up 4 wickets including a good batsmen on 70. He was on a hat trick of stumpings as well. D'cruz bowled ok, but his second over cost 14 which included a massive six. Park have been better in the field and the winning margin should have been greater. Special mention to Chris Colllierwho rescued us with the bat and took 2 great catches, 1 at slip and the other at cow corner.
