Match report On a sunny, breezy afternoon, Park lost the toss and were asked to bat. With the score on 37 for 1 and two batsmen back in the pavilion Simon Trowse(17) and Elliott Skinner(14) proceded to put on 164 in 28 overs for the second wicket. They used a hard, flat wicket to move the ball around keeping the in fielders on their toes. They punished bad deliveries using the fast outfield to great effect.

Old Parks reply was to use brute force to intimidate the youthfull Park bowling and although this was ultimately the winning tactic, Park continued to toil for wickets. David Brett produced a peach of a slower ball to remove Patel, but at 53 for 1, Old Parks were setting a blistering pace. Andy Jones slowed them from one end with some good length and movement but this was a mall blip in there inning until just before the last hour wehn Anil Patel, with his "Athletic" injury came on to bowl and proceeded off, and I will be generous, one pace to to tie up an end and cast some doubt as to the result as the scoring slowed and wickets fell. Simon and David combined at the other end but we could not make another break through, one experinced bowler light is my thought on the result.
