Match report Poor performance saw Park cave in to the now champions Wanstead.
Park moved themselves inot contention by reducing the homeside to 96-6 just after lunch. Don Miller and Ejaz Khan doing most the damage. But the dogs tail wagged. Mo Fayyaz, 35 before being run out, Andy Joslin managed 52 on a difficult wicket before falling to Miller for his third wicket and Saeed smashing 35 in 3 overs ripped out Parks heart in the knowledge that 220 was a score to far. Ejaz Khan taking 3-23 and Miller 3-72.
Park got off to the worse possible start. With some fine swing bowling and also some indisciplined batting saw Park tumble to 23-5. Saeed the main destroyer with 4-18. Chris Swainland 26 showed the courage and determination that was clearly absent elsewhere at times but he too perished to the medium pace of Adnan Akram who claimed 4-16 in only 6 overs to end Parks miserable day.
Congratulations to Wanstead as League champions a well deserved title!
