Match report Batting first Park were bowled out for 239. Mudalige producing a fine spell of classy controlled bowling picking up 8-54. Alex Roberts and Chris swainland rescued Park from 76-4 adding 88 for the 5th wicket. Roberts being dismissed for 89. Swainland went on to complete a solid half century finally being stumped by Butt for 58. Liam Ferns played a fine captains innings back at his previous club adding some pace to the innings with a fine 30. Barry Hyam was Parks other main contributor with 32.
Freddie Butt and Adam Cason got Green off to a steady start. Butt scoring most the runs 38, whilst Cason played a fine supporting role. Cason being dismissed by Miller caught behind by Swainland.
The introduction of spin saw the game change dramatically. Captain Ferns claiming 3 wickets for 9 runs in his first 2 overs. Removing Butt for 38 , Green captain Smith 5 and Jon Powell 0 all just before teas to leave Green at 62-4. Ali Aslam then claimed 5 wickets having Ian Russell caught by Ali Aslam straight after tea , McMurray followed well stumped by Swainland for 27, Krishnan bowled for 4 , Mudalige caught at slip by Roberts for 3 and then having the final wicket of Gill well caught by Choudhury for a defiant 36. James Wyatt having been left not out for 24.
Green being bowled out 60 runs short with 12 overs to spare to secure 25 points
