Match report A young park side having won the toss and deciding to bat first set about trying the get a competitive total from their 40 overs. The youngsters were given an opportunity with new boy Dipesh Tailor getting park off to a flyer with his 33 before being dismissed. Charlie Haddon built on the foundation with a well made 48 before the tail took park over the minimum 200 runs the skipper wanted after an expansive 44 n.o from Jamal Francis.
In reply, whilst the Chigwell skipper Allum scored freely at one end making a well made 97 n.o, he had little support at the other end, and the young park attack did well to keep chipping away and take wickets at the right time. At one stage Chigwell looked to have gained the momentum with 5 wickets in hand, however a superb spell from James Brown changed the game picking up 3 wickets, allowing the elders to wrap the game up at the end.
