Match report Park were asked to take the field and made a great start with great opening spells from Sammons & Toogood. Goresbrook's middle order took charge for a while but Adam Locke done well to remove dangerous opener Smith and then puit himself on a hatrick by removing Cornwall forst ball. Locke never got the hatrick and in the end Park were forced to concede 120 runs. Not a bad performance which may have been made a bit better by not giving away 32 extras.

Park panicked a bit in the face of what on reflection wasn't that hard a total. Sam Dennis hit an absolute top class 64 runs but unfortunately Park were not able to bat around him. Partnerships with Mair, Payne Coombe and Locke were just not enough. Tailenders Johal and Coombe in particular showed some courage and technique which almost guided park to victory. Park were just 7 runs short of winning the match in the end.

Lesson Learnt from it all... we pressed the panic button far too early... and I take some of the responsibility for that. Too many extras (again) 32 out of 120 (27% ) runs and all those extra balls!
