Match report Walthamstow won the toss and elected to bat. Matt Sutton bowled with decent pace and was rewarded with (4-18). He was backed up well by Shakeel Afridi (2-16) and Ed Gavigan (1-13). The introduction of the Collier spin twins closed Walthamstow's innings at 160 all out.

Gidea Park's reply started rapidly and they had soon posted 43 runs of the first 6 overs. Danny Rees and Phil Goldstone where undone by the canny left arm medium pace bowling of Brace. Ashley Capp batted sensibly and composed a fine 57 not out. Greg Churchill weighed in with a brisk 40 not out which included some good strokeplay. Gidea Park ran out easy winners by eight wickets.
