18yo Ahmed Butt and 16yo Simon Trowse, all round performances lead GPRCC to victory. On a wicket that stayed low GPRCC batsmen applied themselves to the task with contributions from 15yo Chris Lamb, and 12yo Gurjit Jutla who put on the largest stand of the day with Simon Trowse of 43. Captain Steve McCormack top scored and put on 42 with Andrew Trowse for the 10th Wicket, before declaring while on 48 not out.

When Stanford batted, Simon Trowse bowling a good line and length helped himself to the first 4 wickets before Ahmed Butt decided to join in. Ahmed attempting to bowl his normal fast pace had no effect on this wicket and as soon as he reduced his speed he collected 4 quick wickets. After their spells the score was 37 for 9 off 15 overs. Umar Sharif bowled some good line and length but it was the old man of the team Anil Patel getting a ball to bounce bail high that collected the last wicket.

One game left against Hornchurch to complete GPRCC's first 5th XI season.
