Match report A good performance from Park would have resulted in a comforatble victory at Clayhall Park had rain not intervened. Earlier, Mike O'Neill and Paul Winmill both bowled excellently to restrict the opposition batsmen; only their number 10 offered any real resistance once the opener, french had been bowled for 32.
Bray and Patient had pushed the score to within touching distance of victory when the rain became too heavy to continue; frankly Hainault and Clayhall will have been grateful for the onset of poor weather!
A real shame as Park end up with only 6 points rather than the 18 they would have picked up if another half hours play was possible.
