Match report In cricket, you hear people say the match was won on the toss of the coin. This was the case on Saturday and unfortunately, Park lost the toss.

They were asked to bat on an uncovered pitch that was wet and bound to assist the bowlers and dry as the afternoon went on. This certainly happened, but the asistance for the Fives bowlers was exagerrated. 3 of the first 4 wickets were lost to sharp rising balls on a length that the Park batsmen could do nothing about. This coupled with Fives bowling well and exploiting the condition's, made it hard for Park to ease the pressure. This continued and with their tails up, Fives shot out Park for 84 in 34 overs.

Fives then took to the task on a dryer wicket and were immediately positive and attacked and made light work of the scoring the 85 required and did so for the loss of only one wicket.
