Match report An inexperienced Park side did well to open their Matchplay campaign with such a convincing win.

Park could not have started better with Moonie taking two wickets in the first over. Toogood also started well with little luck but came back in the end to take the final wicket. The support bowling of Mair was very economical and Roberts did very well to get two wickets in four overs for just 7 runs. Skipper Goldstone bowled quite superbly to take 4 wickets for just eleven runs in his 8 overs. Swainland kept superbly and did well to gee the lads up. Two smart stumpings off Goldstone capped a fine performance.

Some spirited batting towards the end of their innings saw Harold Wood set a total od 105. Openers Collier (52no) and Man of the Match Goldstone(33) deserved to see Park accross the line but unfortunately Goldstone got out with just 2 runs required for victory.

Well played lads.. there will be some harder work to be done in this competition but it was a fine start.
