Match report Looking for our first home win of the season, Park won the toss and chose to field against a strong Loughton side who are second in the division. With quick wickets and tight bowling Loughton were struggling to make runs initially and were restricted to 66/6, However Loughton tailenders Sweeting (83 in a remarkable display of hitting) and Williams (45)changed the course of the innings and took Loughton to a declaration at 240/9 leaving Park an hour and three quarters and 20 overs to get the runs. Park's openers gave the chase a flying start with a quick 100 runs partnership, Ammar Zahid (65) & Mughir Qureshi (51) leading the way. Although the team lost quick wickets in the middle order Ian Greenwood (41) joined Ammar and got us more than close to the target, which was achieved with 6 overs to spare thanks to last minute quick runs from Usman Maqbool (19) & Salim Patel (19).
