Match report Still needing a win to be absolutely safe in their division Park's 3rd XI won in fine style against Hadleigh & Thundersley by 112 runs to take the full 25 points. Park batted first and opener Simon Baldwin played the innings of his career at the club to post a fantastic 162 not out playing good quality shots all innings. His momentum was mirrored in a series of partnerships all down the order, with Connor Donnelly the next highest scorer continuing his excellent form with 49. A declaration was possible after 49 overs and Hadleigh faced attacking fields and some excellent bowling especially from seamer Liam Neal in particular. They were never in the hunt and Liam picked up 5 for 63 to take his season's tally to 30 wickets, a great return for some consistent bowling all year. Hadleigh were bowled out in the 37th over.
