Match report Phew. A game we won that we very nearly lost! Park lost the toss and were put into bat. Despite 50 from Chay Hedges and 41 from James Patient Horndon were on top when we were 145 for 7 before a rain break halted their momentum. Afterwards, Peter Collier 28 not out and skipper Chris Webber 41 not out took over and took the score to a competitive 215 without further loss.

The Horndon reply started quickly but wickets began to fall and the game could have gone either way. Mueez Quereshi put in a good second spell, but Horndon needed 5 off the last over bowled by Richard Wall. A great stop on the boundary prevented the scores being levelled and with the home side needing three off the last ball, Chris Webber stumped Jeff West Senior and Park were home by two runs! Richard Wall took 4 crucial wickets but the star was Mueez Quereshi who once again kept us in the game with 5 wickets, and bowled really well.
