Gidea Park & Romford Cricket Club Lost By 7 wickets

Match report Gidea Park hosted Southend for the 2nd Saturday in a row after the league cup
last weekend. Having lost the toss GPR were asked to bat on a wet wicket which
offered the S-o-S bowlers plenty of assistance. Park were soon in trouble and
required Collard to guts it out for a valuable 32. Park found batsmen getting in
and out as wickets continued to fall to a mixture of good bowling and rash
shots. 150ao in the 46th over. Robbins being pick of the S-o-S bowler with 4
wickets.

Park took to the field in far drier conditions than those started in but
captured 2 early wickets, Filmalter and Thakkar with 1 a piece. From then on
Robbins (85) and Hoq guided the visitors home with few scares, the former
falling to Mckie once the game was effectively won.

Park need to find a quick response as we travel to Belhus next!
